X-ray diffraction did not reveal the presence of any phyllosilicates (water alteration mineral)

NWA 11086 was proposed as the first CM3 to the Nomenclature Committee of the Meteoritical Society, but because of anomalous oxygen isotopes and the petrologic type, was back then accempted only as CM-Anomalous only...
