Meteorite rock item is a pitted unknown from Mohave Desert 5.75 ounce sample
This sample was found 8-15-2023 while exploring Mohave Desert - We are NOT ROCK EXPERTS - not sure if this is a meteorite or a rock of some kind this item is not magnetic but it's very cool looking. We were about 35 miles in from 29 palms California start point. We found several of these rocks in various locations we have not seen any volcanic rocks in this area, but it does not mean this isn't one of them. In any case this item would make an excellent study project for any rock class. this possible meteor stone has brown crusting on part of the surface area. Thank you for looking.
