This is a rare green ammonite nodule that was collected many years ago from Charmouth, Dorset, England and has been recently prepared by Stone Treasures. The nodule contains one ammonite (Metophioceras sp.) which has been beautifully prepared to show good detail and preservation. It has a cut base so it displays very well !
Specimen measures approx 9.8cm x 11cm x 7.2cm with the ammonite approx 6.7cm in diameter.
Quite rare to find specimens like this one from the UK, so would be a great addition to any collection or as a gift.
